1. The Quest for the Holy Quail
While King Allfire and the Knights of the Square Table are out questing for the Holy Quail, Count Geoffrey lures Queen Griddle to Castle Threadbare so that he can demand Camelhot as ransom. When Allfire refuses to abandon his quest in order to save the Queen, Geoffrey, Merle and the Evil Knights find themselves trying to get rid of her.
2. A Gift for Griddle
When Count Geoffrey learns that it is Queen Griddle’s birthday, he devises a Trojan Horse-type ruse with a giant cake, and successfully infiltrates Camelhot. With the King, the Queen and all of the Knights of the Square Table locked out of the castle, it’s up to Flicker and Flame to save the day.
3. Tournament Day
Queen Griddle declares a jousting tournament, offering Princess Flame’s hand in marriage as first prize. Count Geoffrey sees an opportunity to become heir to the throne of Camelhot, and has his Evil Knights enter the tournament on his behalf. Meanwhile, Flame asks Flicker to enter the tournament incognito. At first he refuses, to honour the Code of Chivalry, and so Flame is forced to take matters into her own hands.
4. Excaliburn
The time has come for King Allfire to re-enact the deed that made him king: pulling the sword Excaliburn from the legendary stone. But when Flicker leaves the sword unattended, Count Geoffrey steals Excaliburn in the hope that its loss will cause Camelhot to spiral towards oblivion.
5. Newt for a Day
Sir Loungelot encounters an evil sorceress who turns him into a newt, just as Queen Griddle wants him to escort her to a high fashion ball. Not only must Flicker conceal his master’s amphibious form from the Queen, but he must also dodge the affections of Cassandra, whom he rescued from a spider while out on damsel patrol.
6. Knights and Knightresses
Princess Flame starts up a league of Knightresses to rival the Knights of the Square Table, but when no maidens answer her summons, Flame persuades Flicker to join her league in disguise as ‘Sir Delores’. Before long, Flicker finds himself having to dodge the advances of Sir Loungelot, while Flame’s new methods threaten to put the Knights of the Square Table out of a job.
7. Merle's Mirror
Merle the Wizard and Count Geoffrey use a magic mirror to control Queen Griddle, and make her assassinate the King. When suspicion falls upon Flicker, he is thrown into the dungeon, leaving King Allfire unprotected against the evil count’s attempts on his life.
8. Renaissance Dragon
An Italian inventor named Flamiano wants to drag Camelhot out of the Dark Ages and into the Renaissance. Flicker, after becoming Flamiano’s assistant, learns that the inventor’s attempts to impress the King are becoming increasingly dangerous. He must act before someone gets hurt.
9. Robbing Hoodlum
A band of chickens known as Robbing Hood and his Melancholy Men has been robbing the rich blind… but they don’t seem to have got round to giving it to the poor. Camelhot challenges Robbing to an archery contest, making him promise to give back the loot if they win. But if Robbing wins, his prize will be Princess Flame’s hand in marriage.
10. The Stone of Wisdom
The knights are out on their weekly quest (but actually playing poker in a cave) when mysterious oracle guides them to the Mystic Temple of the Mystic Monks of the Even More Mystic Misty Moors, where they will find the Stone of Wisdom. Meanwhile, Count Geoffrey and his Evil Knights begin construction on a Doomsday Device, which (if assembled correctly) will mean the end of Camelhot.
11. Hermits and Heroes
Sir Blaze, sick of his fellow knights’ constant teasing, leaves Camelhot and takes up the life of a hermit. Flicker and Flame plead with him to come home, accidentally letting slip that the other knights want Griddle off their backs. Blaze refuses, and so Flicker and Flame concoct a plan to make him look like a hero and be welcomed home. Count Geoffrey, meanwhile, has no plan and wants in on this one.
12. Sir Hare
When Count Geoffrey discovers that the super-knight Merle has created for him is a giant hare, he concocts a plan to win Camelhot from the dragons. The Evil Spy slips a note into King Allfire’s Code of Chivalry suggestion box: ‘A dragon knight will never harm a hair on a bunny’s head.’ Geoffrey then issues a challenge, knowing that Camelhot must accept. It’s Sir Loungelot vs. the giant bunny!
13. Bleepin' Beauty
Whilst out questing with Sir Loungelot, Flicker accidentally wakes a sleeping princess with a kiss. He and Loungelot escort the princess to Camelhot, where they discover that they have made a dire mistake. Beauty just doesn’t stop talking, and the dragons find themselves desperately seeking a way to put her back to sleep.
